Help Make It Happen

Here's the thing...we cannot do this alone: WE NEED YOU! 

Research done in 2004 indicated that the major challenges facing the new immigrant are education, job opportunity, isolation and prejudice due to their lack of cultural understanding. Because CEEDS volunteers have been through these challenges they are in a position to be a positive support to the newly arrived.

Pray for God’s provision and direction for CEEDS.

Be a voice for CEEDS. Tell your friends, neighbors, and community organizations about the needs and the solutions.

Be a Friend. Many new families will simply need someone to be a friend to them and to help them get accustomed to a new life in a new place.

Support CEEDS financially, volunteering, or in any other way you are able to. It is estimated that it will take $100,000 for setup and operation for the coming year. As with all nonprofits, CEEDS works to live within the voluntary contributions received. The immediate financial needs are for a storage area for donated goods and staffing.

At least Twenty-five families have recently arrived, or will be arriving, who have urgent need to support their adjustment as winter comes to Minnesota and the welcoming organizations withdraw their three month support.
